Schnäppchencheck: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 wird trotz Verbot günstiger
Der Handel mit dem eigentlich verbotenen Tablet scheint derzeit zu blühen, mittlerweile sinken sogar die Preise
Auf verschlungenen Pfaden, die durch einsame Berglandschaften führen, muss es derzeit zugehen wie auf der A2 am Freitagnachmittag. Anders ist es kaum zu erklären, dass das Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 einfach nicht aus dem Angebot der deutschen Händler zu vertreiben ist, und das obwohl seit Wochen Samsung Deutschland keines der Gerät mehr importieren darf. Es scheinen derart viele dunkler Gestalten in der Nacht unterwegs zu sein, dass es fast so etwas wie ein Überangebot zu geben scheint.
Denn mittlerweile ist das Tablet, das die Größe seines Displays schon im Namen trägt, und das eine Bildschirmauflösung von 1280 x 800 Pixeln besitzt, schon regelrecht günstig zu bekommen. Nur noch 519 € müssen für das Galaxy Tab 10.1 in dessen Innerem mit dem Nvidia Tegra 2 ein fixer Dualcore-Prozessor seine Arbeit verrichtet, in einschlägigen Online-Shops ausgegeben werden. Dann erhält man die kleinste Variante, die einen 16 GB großen Speicher besitzt. Für den Netzwerkverkehr stehen ein WLAN-Modul, das nach b/g/n-Standard funkt, sowie ein 3G-Mobilfunk-Chip bereit. Daten können drahtlos mit Hilfe von Bluetooth synchronisiert werden.
Ganz wie beim großen Vorbild Apple ist der Austausch per simplem Mini-USB-Kabel – Android-Geräte-untypisch – aufgrund eines Samsung eigenen Steckers nicht ganz so leicht. Hier muss erst ein Adapter im Zubehörhandel erworben werden. Gleiches gilt für die Ausgabe des Bildes auf einen zusätzlichen Monitor – HDMI gibt’s nur mit einem Adapter. Eine Speichererweiterung mit microSD-Karten ist leider auch nicht gegen Aufpreis möglich, weil ein entsprechender Schlitz dafür gleich gänzlich gespart wurde.
Ganz ohne zusätzliche Gebühren erhält der Nutzer jedoch zwei Kameras – eine, mit einer Auflösung von 2 Megapixeln, auf der Vorderseite des Gerätes; eine zweite auf der Rückseite leistet 3 Megapixel. Als Betriebssystem setzt der Hersteller auf Android 3.1 (Honeycomb).
Trotz aller Einschränkungen ist das Galaxy Tab 10.1 mit seinem schlanken Äußeren nicht grundlos das Gerät, dass Apple so gänzlich in Angst und Schrecken versetzt hat. Für 519 € ist es zwar ein recht teurer Spaß, dennoch dürfte es nicht so schnell wesentlich billiger werden. Vielleicht schon nur, weil die Schmuggler ihren Anteil abbekommen wollen.
